Greek Generosity

Living in an authentic Greek village is a privilege. Everyday I am touched by the generosity of our village friends. Today, I was on my way to dinner at Caravan, one of my fave island tavernas. Before I reached my car I passed Mitro and I stopped to comment on the beautiful wild oregano he had collected from the surrounding mountains. I couldn’t believe his generosity as he handed me one of the three bunches he had gathered. One of the many beautiful moments of living on the island of Lesvos in an authentic Greek village. Thank you Mitro.
