Linen, a Simple Luxury

There are afternoons at our little Tassie shack, Bushy Summers, when I cannot resist cosying up under a linen throw on our daybed with a good book.

I choose a favourite linen quilt, grab a couple of pillows from the bed, pour myself a cup of green tea, usually accompanied with some yummy chocolate and there I stay.

Linen is such a great luxury and one of my favourites. It always looks and feels great, ironed or crumpled. As you can see, I like it crumpled. 

Treating yourself to the simple things in life is the best self-care you can give you. So, choose what you love and nurture yourself daily.

Whether it be a delicious meal, laughing with friends, a favourite bottle of wine, a walk by the sea or through the woods, spending time with your pets, or cosying up under a linen quilt in the afternoon.
